Obama Buys Votes

The following article discusses Obama's recent (Executive Branch) decision to cease deporting illegal aliens who have no criminal record.  I believe this is tantamount to an invitation to the entire world to come here and stay.  The next step is to register all foreigners to vote in the 2012 presidential election  . . . . . . . !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Jan Brewer: Obama plan is "backdoor amnesty"

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer called the Obama administration’s new policy that will allow many illegal immigrants who don’t have criminal records the chance to stay in the United States “backdoor amnesty.”
In a statement, the Republican governor slammed the planned case-by-case reviews of the approximately 300,000 illegal immigrants who are currently facing possible expulsion.
“This plan amounts to backdoor amnesty for hundreds of thousands — if not millions — of illegal aliens,” Brewer said on Thursday.

The Obama administration announced Thursday that its top priority will be targeting illegal immigrants with criminal convictions for deportations, and moving low-priority cases — such as young people who were brought to the U.S. as children, military veterans and spouses of military personnel — out of the deportation pipeline.

Brewer, who enacted one of the country’s toughest immigration laws, said the announcement “is encouraging more illegal immigration at the exact moment we need federal focus on border security.”
Oscar Chacon, the executive director of National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities, one of the organizations that led protests against the Obama administration earlier this week about the rising number of deportations, said Brewer “clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”
“You really have to be in the imaginary world to paint it as some sort of amnesty,” Chacon told POLITICO.
Last year, the Obama administration deported a record number of people — nearly 400,000. The rising number of deportations has angered the Hispanic community, which is a key voting bloc for President Barack Obama.
While taking aim at Brewer’s comment, Chacon made clear that his organization and those like it don’t see the new policy as a real immigration remedy. The first step, he said, is to end the Secure Communities program, in which local police share fingerprints of detainees with federal authorities and immigration officials.
“One of the political goals of yesterday’s announcement was precisely to distract organizations like ours from the focus on Secure Communities,” he said. “While we commend the announcement, we think it’s very late – why did they have to wait two and a half years?”
Brewer — who called the new deportation plan “especially disturbing” for border states such as Arizona in the wake of U.S. weapon sales to Mexican drug cartels — said Obama’s new policy “got it really wrong.”
“We need to remind President Obama that we elected a president that serves beneath the law and did not anoint a king that is above the law,” she said.

I'm Shocked

Last year, Obama, Reid and Pelosi shoved Obaminacare down Americans' throats.  The people are still barely learning the extent of the fraud and insanity built into the health care "reform" scam.  One as-yet-unimplemented provision of it is that, when you go to sell your house, you will have to pay a 3.8% tax on the transaction to pay for this nightmare.

I remember that when it came to crunch time, several Democratic congressmen would not vote for the bill if it contained any provisions to use public funds to pay for abortions.  These representatives were placated by a (weak) promise that the President would issue an executive order to forbid that from happening.  I remember some pundits commenting that such an executive order could end up having no teeth.

So it has come home to roost.  All this week, the two parties have been tussling over how much to cut the budget deficit ($60 billion or $100 billion).  As I write this tonight, the media are reporting that the sticking point is the several hundred million dollars previously set aside to support Planned Parenthood (90% of whose funding goes to kill unborn babies).  Republicans are refusing to agree to any budget compromise that would allow federal money to continue to go to the baby-killers.

The Democratic politicians are blasting the Republicans for using this issue to hold up the agreement and for risking a government shutdown.  They say that the Republicans are jeopardizing the "health of women" (some Planned Parenthood offices perform medical screenings).

I'm shocked that so many Democratic politicians are so stridently pro-abortion, and that they are so desperate to keep the money flowing to Planned Parenthood, that they are willing to let the government shut down over it.  Shame on you!  How do you sleep?

Where Is Your Lifeboat?

Some years ago, I watched the movie TITANIC (except for the pornographic parts). One significant plot element in this fictional story was that some idiot forgot to equip the vessel with an adequate number of lifeboats, so a bunch of passengers perished!!!! As if anyone would be that stupid !!!! Of course, some of the rich and powerful passengers figured out ways to secure themselves a seat on a lifeboat.

Anyway, I thought back to the movie THE PIANIST (with Adrien Brody). In the story, a large number of Jewish families in Poland were victimized, persecuted and forcibly relocated. I noted that, whether the families were formerly rich or poor, after the brutal purges, all of them were equally destitute and impoverished.

I read an article by an Iranian woman (Setareh Sabety). She wrote about her experiences around 1979, when the Shah of Iran was ousted by the Ayatollah Khomeini. She relates how there was a fervor for a change in the political regime. People were largely oblivious of the tyranny and oppression awaiting them. She reports that her rich father was blacklisted and stripped of the vast wealth and land he had hitherto possessed. His former class and status were abruptly revoked.

I remembered seeing a recent plug for a book titled "The day after the dollar crashes", and then I thought - Wait! If the dollar crashes, then all those 401k and IRA accounts (electronic bookkeeping entries) will be annihilated. All the insurance policies, checking and savings accounts - they will all be MEANINGLESS. Then Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates will be as rich as me. They'll be like the rest of us - looking for a loose brick to throw through the nearest grocery store window.

Surely these rich and famous and powerful people have a contingency plan. Don't they already understand that when the new (totalitarian) regime takes control, the teachers, doctors, poets, clerics, musicians, and all of the old-school intelligentsia will have to be sent to a Gulag or vanish? Do Bill and Oprah have a special plan? Have they already talked to Obama, Hillary, Pelosi and Bernanke, and arranged for a pre-paid ticket and seat on the lifeboat? Have they arranged for a way to get deep underground (with their fellow progressives and revolutionaries) for at least three weeks while the bombs fly and while they wait for the hot fallout to dissipate?

Where is your lifeboat?

A Brief Political Observation

Obama said today that he didn't run for the presidency to help out a "bunch of fat-cat bankers".

LIAR !

Maybe he didn't realize he was doing it (???????), but think this through - the government is rolling in (borrowed) money. The banks are wallowing in money. Meanwhile, the people are suffering horrible economic downturns.

It was reported last week that now more than 50% of union workers in this country WORK FOR GOVERNMENT. So, if all union members were to vote on something, would private business win - or would government interests win? Hannity reported tonight that, in this last year, the number of federal employees making over $100,000 has SKYROCKETED.

In Soviet Russia, there was no king, and there was no democracy, so WHO WAS IN CHARGE?

ANSWER: An oligarchy. What is an oligarchy?

ANSWER: A bunch of rich "fat-cat" private bankers.

So what is Obama (along with David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel and Valerie Jarrett) trying to turn this country into?

ANSWER: An oligarchy where a bunch of private, Marxist revolutionaries have confiscated all the money (paper and precious metals) and enslave the peasant population (you and me) into totalitarian subjection.

These people need to remember that the 13 colonies (/tribes of Israel) dedicated this land as a "footstool" for Jesus Christ, and He will not allow these impostors permanently to steal it. He ONLY is America's King.

Barbie Freaks Out

I was delighted last night to read the following article:

It reported the "Barbie in Wonderland" proceedings in the courtroom. I never cease to be amazed at the skewed exercise of justice in Barbarous Wart-hog's court. Let's face it folks - she HATES the FLDS. She wants them imprisoned. She would do anything she could reasonably get away with to aid the prosecutors who are trying these cases. It is no different from the arbitrary, improvised system of justice inflicted on the Mormons in Missouri and Illinois in the 1840s.

If I were an FLDS member, I would be very heartened by yesterday's developments. Barbie's shameless distortion of proper procedures HAS to get her into hot water eventually. It is fascinating to watch a person so drunken with pride and hubris continue to believe that she is immune from accountability and comeuppance. Now that she has been challenged to recuse herself, maybe we have a chance to get these pleadings before a judge who understands the concept of judicial impartiality.

It has been ably noted elsewhere, but Rozita Swinton's misdemeanor trial (for making hoax phone calls) has been postponed to the point of absurdity and is now the oldest outstanding misdemeanor case in Texas. Clearly, Texas doesn't want to admit that THE RAID was a terrible mistake and that the evidence seizure was at least a stretch of Constitutional guidelines.

Why cannot these politicians prefer truth and honor over power and security? How can they sleep at night, knowing that they are exploiting a minority people for gain? No, the FLDS are not perfect, but their imperfections do not justify gross persecution. There is a joke that goes:

How can you tell when a politician is lying? - - - - When his lips are moving.

Obama exulted yesterday that he has achieved a major success, in that the nation's unemployment figures went from 10.2% last month to 10%. "Great news in time for the 'Season of Hope' " !!!!!!

Our buddy, Bill, revealed that, unlike Laura Bush, who had one personal assistant, Michelle Obama has 22 (at a cost of $1.5M per year). These people are crooks and embezzlers - Marxist oligarchs who arrogate titles of nobility to themselves. They should read the Bible to learn what happens to those who are "puffed up".

I actually feel like praying for Barbie - that she will come to a bright recognition of the cruelty of her ways, and experience an epiphany on the "road to Damascus". The freight train is coming down the tracks, Barbie, and I pray that you will have the sense to get out of the way (if only for the sake of all those blond-haired, blue-eyed little children).

Celebrating Skin Color

This week we are celebrating skin color. The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to freshman president Obama. The distinguished Norwegian gentleman who made the announcement to the press was questioned afterwards. He was asked if the award of the prize to Obama was based on future expectations of his performance as U.S. president or if it was based on his achievements to date. The official insisted that the votes in favor of Obama were driven by his many accomplishments as president. I find it interesting that the votes were cast back in February of this year when Obama had been president for several days.

Perhaps the Nobel society representative meant to say that Obama was nominated because many Europeans had been so twitterpated by Obama's skin color - one of the principal reasons for his successful presidential campaign.

I'm hoping that I will win the Nobel peace prize next year on the basis of my skin color - which, by the way, is very lovely.
