An elderly woman in the late-stages of leukemia was forced to undergo 45 minutes of additional screenings last Saturday when she tried to board a flight out of Northwest Florida Regional Airport, her daughter told FoxNews.com
Lena Reppert, 95, was to say her final goodbyes to her daughter before she made what would most likely be her last flight to her native Michigan. After eight years of battling leukemia, doctors say she doesn’t have much time to live.
“She said she wanted to be closer to her grave,” Jean Weber, her daughter, told FoxNews.com. “I knew it would probably be the last time I ever see her.”
But when Reppert made it to the check-in line, Transportation Security Association agents singled her out because she was in a wheelchair. Wheelchairs require other security measures to be employed since they don’t go through metal detectors.
“So they brought my mom to the side, and two agents just started patting her,” Reppert said. “Eventually they found something that appeared to be hard and they said could be a concealed weapon.”
She said two female agents wheeled her mom into a private room where they performed a more thorough inspection, and found that Reppert was wearing a Depend adult diaper.
“It was hard because the underwear was bunched up,” Weber said, adding that she was not in the room as her mother was patted.
After 45 minutes, the mother and daughter were given two options: either don't fly, or lose the Depend. The women chose the latter.
“I ran with her to the bathroom and stripped her down,” Weber recalled. “I got back to the line and just started bawling.”
Weber said the emotional toll was too much. From perhaps seeing her mother for what could be the last time, to having to see her mother go through all the security measures, “I just cried and said, ‘Please can you let her through, she’s just so sick,” she said.
The TSA said in a statement to Fox News that at "no instance" would an officer ask a passenger to remove an adult diaper. The TSA would not disclose further information about this particular passenger, but said all protocols were followed.
“While every person and item must be screened before entering the secure boarding area, TSA works with passengers to resolve security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner," the statement read. "We have reviewed the circumstances involving this screening and determined that our officers acted professionally and according to proper procedure.”
Reppert eventually made her flight by two minutes, her daughter said, but the departure was bitter sweet.
“It was tough to say goodbye after all of that,” Weber said. “But she’s at peace, and she’s a good Christian woman. They’ll be waiting for her up there in Heaven.”

The End Of The World

What does it mean?  What is the end of the world?  I guess if the world exploded into a trillion chunks and were scattered throughout the universe, that would be the "end" of the world.

A few weeks ago, a Christian leader prophesied the imminent "end of the world".  His prophetic vision entailed a lot of destruction, and the levitation of a small group of true believers to a rapturous and glorious salvation.  I had to laugh.  Perhaps the world would split into two hemispherical halves, and the sudden loss of gravity would send billions floating into the stratosphere.  Who knows?

What is your vision of this apocalyptic change?  Is it like the movie, 2012?  I feel like there is a bucketload of ignorance being exchanged in the entire discussion.  Earlier religious pundits have warned of imminent destructions and the Second Coming.  Most have gotten it wrong.  Most are conflicted over how it will all go down.  Is God so sick and tired of His wayward children that He now aches for the opportunity to fry us all?  Was this terrestrial experiment a dismal failure?  Is is time to pull the proverbial plug?

I heard a man speak on this topic just a few months back.  He's the guy who wrote The Day After The Dollar Crashes.  His point was fascinating.  He explained that this is NOT about the world "ENDING", rather it is about us making a successful TRANSITION.  There is a duel coming soon.  The globalist tyrants are convinced that they will finally gain full control over the Promised Land (America) along with the rest of the world.  Jesus's servants hold tenuously to His promise that America is His footstool, and that those who persist in serving Him will be welcome to remain here and remain alive.  I want to be on Jesus's side because I don't think Bernanke and Sir Evelyn care about my family's welfare.

If you place (or own) any stock in the Dream Mine, you may already understand that the "end" of this world, or the conclusion of this telestial era is more of a metamorphosis than a termination.  The real question is - what is God's motivation for this major renovation?

Not much in the Holy Scriptures is not about our duty to keep ourselves pure and prepare for the spectacular events of these last days.  It's about discipline, testing and rewards.  God's desire to give us broad latitude in recent centuries has allowed many to behave poorly.  We are left to our free agency and to our own inclinations to observe His commandments or to flout them.  When our cup of iniquity is completely full (like in Noah's day) it is time for the discipline.  Abortion, usury, miscegenation and atheism will help trigger the retribution.  Some of the tribulations are self-imposed (like poverty as a result of usury); some are karmic (like hurricane Katrina); others are downright acts of God.

The testing is almost automatic - when people suffer adversity, they either coalesce and support each other with extreme heroism and selflessness, or they look for the first electronics store to loot.  When we face the loss of health or of a loved one, we either become embittered and curse God, or we become humble and trust His greater wisdom.

The rewards come from the collaboration.  If we figure out what God wants for us and for His other children, then we can get in step with His program and achieve it.  The rewards are both inherent and God-given.  We get satisfaction from aiding others with genuine needs, and God blesses us by protecting, preserving and enriching us.

The coming Transition will appear as the "end of the world" to some.  Sadly, with so much worldwide discipline and upheaval, millions (perhaps billions) of lives will be lost.  Since none of us plans to die, each of us must work to prepare for the Transition and strive to pass through it successfully.  According to prophets such as John Koyle, it will last between four and seven years (not very long).  What awaits us all (dead or alive) on the other end of the Transition is a much better condition, and a lot less wickedness.

We all face the ambiguity of wanting our lives to remain stable and normal, while at the same time wishing that the iniquity of this telestial phase will soon be dealt with.  Remember, there are two kinds of people.

Not Much To Say

It's not often I have to apologize to my gracious readers for having had little to say in recent weeks.  I am truly sorry.  I have a personal resolve to not write unless I can offer something incisive and (hopefully) interesting.

I noticed an article in USA Today which reported that each US household owes $534,000 in federal debt and unfunded liabilities.  I can barely afford to pay my air conditioning bill, let alone $534,000 to Bernanke and Sir Evelyn.

Most Americans sense that the economy is on the proverbial brink.  I am tempted to wonder if the banksters are crashing the world's economies so effectively that they are single-handedly ushering in the pre-Millennial tribulations.

I am convinced that many scriptural prophecies are seeing their fulfillment in our current crises (plagues, wars, earthquakes, etc.).  I have no idea when the predicted catastrophic upheavals will occur, but I want to be prepared.

I chuckle sometimes at the words of the revered Bruce R. McConkie and his contemporary, Spencer W. Kimball.  McConkie boldly announced that the time of the Savior's second coming is fixed - that despite no man's knowing when it is, it is foreknown by God, and nothing man can do will alter its timing.  Kimball (contrastingly) boldly announced that the events of the "last days" and the return of Jesus are all dependent on our conduct - - if we are good, He will come soon; if we are bad, He will postpone things and we will just have to wait longer.  I guess they forgot to correlate their messages.

One thing's for sure - this world is getting wickeder and wickeder.  Esteemed congressmen are sending out photos of their genitals.  Liberal idiots are preparing to take away our incandescent light bulbs, and Obama wants to take away our guns.  The FBI wants to go through our trash, and high schools are being pressured to censor specific words in graduation speeches.

The evolutionists cop the over-simplified rationalization that, if there is a God, He would not allow so much suffering in the world, therefore He cannot exist.  Likewise, my kids accuse me of not existing because, if I really did exist, I would not spank them. !!!!!!! ??????????

Truth is - God does in fact exist, and you have to decide whether you think He is a BIG JERK (because you have adversity in your life), or whether you think He loves us all and lovingly inflicts "tough love" on us to help us grow - to help us maximize our potential and be "all that we can be".

Sometimes I get resentful because I don't want tribulations.  Sometimes I wish I had been born rich and didn't have to work.  I bet there are lots of people in the world who resent the station or circumstances into which they were born.  As I noted in a previous post, if you fail to factor in our pre-mortal lives, NOTHING IS FAIR.  If you do accept our pre-existence, it still can seem awfully unbalanced.  How did God decide to have me be a white male, when He arranged for thousands of others to be Zulus or pygmies in Africa.  I wouldn't want to trade places with them, but some of them might be resentful of me and and wish they could trade places with me (even though I probably have fewer wives).  Is God a jerk?  Did He get it all wrong?  Are atheist liberals right to want to do away with Him?  I guess that when you don't understand His plan, all you can do is be resentful towards Him.

I will say this, though - despite the horror and torment we have to endure in this brief mortal probation, we should take solace in the fact that the coming Millennium is VERY LONG (1,000 years [duhh!!]), and everyone gets to be around for it.  Everyone gets new opportunities to excel - even Obama, Pelosi and Bernanke (although I hope they'll be on a different continent).

So I say, "BRING IT ON !!!!!"
